Questions some find helpful :

  • Absolutely - Iā€™m there for my couples not for me, and playing nice with others is crucial for your day to go smoothly and for your creative venders to do our jobs the best we can.

  • I do. Couples are more than welcome to send song requests from the website(s) I license the music from, but the cost to license most popular music is unrealistic. I license music for each film to make sure there are no issues with videos getting flagged and taken down when shared.

  • It will be me (Ross) unless something unexpected happens / discussed about beforehand and then it will be one of my associate shooters

  • Arriving 1 hour before the bride puts her dress on and departing 1 hour after the dance floor is open for all guests is what I advise couples for ideal timeframe. For most weddings, an 8 hours of filming is ample amount of coverage but couples can always add more hours of filming if desired.

  • On average it's between 3-6 months, sometimes shorter, but never longer. Couples can choose expedited editing for a 1 month turn around of their films ( more info found in the A La Carte section of pricing section)

  • Short answer is no. I do not have the proper license to fly a drone and use its footage for profit. I have in the past outsourced drone footage for couples that found that important.

  • Throughout the day I have a microphone onto of my camera capturing ambient sound ( talking, room noise, wind, etc.) During certain moments ( first look, ceremony ) the groom and officiant will have small lavaliere mics put on them and most situations allow for a direct recording from the sound equipment at the venue. If not, I have external recorders to place statically as needed.

  • Professionally speaking I have always used Canon and love the footage I am capturing with my R5 & R5c
